Our PTS™ (Premier Training Services™) REACTasap™ Course includes an active shooter awareness program (to enhance your situational awareness) as well as in-person responder skills practice for severe external bleeding control and firearm disarming techniques. This course is for everybody and no prior experience is required. It is ideal for schools (and other educational institutions), places of worship, businesses / corporations, event companies, and governmental agencies. After completing the on-line independent study portion, your instructor will coordinate the date and hours for the in-person / on-site instructor-led portion. | Duration: 4 hours.
REACTasap™ was developed by the founders of Premier Training Services™: Darcy Leutzinger, PhD, and Lindsay Leutzinger PhD, PA-C. | Darcy has over 35 years of law enforcement and private security expertise. He served in various positions including Field Training Officer, Undercover Narcotics Officer, Detective, and Patrol Executive Lieutenant before retiring from the position of Executive Lieutenant of the Special Investigations / Narcotics Enforcement for the Warren, Michigan police department, a municipality that borders Detroit. During his tenure with the Warren PD, Darcy served various positions on the SWAT (Special Weapons And Tactics) team for 23 years, managing numerous high-risk incidents before retiring as the Commander. Darcy is responsible for developing an executive protection team, investigation team, and training program for multiple Fortune 500 conglomerates. He also previously served as Senior Instructor / Coordinator for the Macomb Emergency Services Training Center and SWAT Basic / Advanced School. Darcy holds a PhD in Emergency and Protective Services. He is currently the security director for one of the largest security teams in the United States and is the Program Director for the Master of Emergency Management Science (MEMS) program at the University of the Pacific. | Lindsay is a professor and program director at a major University for a Doctor of Health Science and Medical Science program. As a physician associate, she practiced in emergency/trauma medicine in Detroit, Michigan and then specialized in neurological surgery, leading a team that developed and performed many procedures for the first time in the United States. Her extensive experience in graduate education included roles such as Clinical Coordinator, program designer, and Admissions Director at many major Universities. Her PhD is in Education Evaluation and Research, with a focus in Quantitative Methods. Lindsay is currently serving an appointment to the American Council on Education.
Our Premier Training Services™ authorized instructor, Guri Sejzer, combines his experience in the fields of open water rescue, public safety diving, pre-hospital emergency medical care with his passion for martials arts and self defense.
