Our On-Land & In-Water Spinal Immobilization Workshop includes: c-collar sizing and use, immobilization of standing patient, immobilization of patient face-up, immobilization of patient face-down, immobilization of sitting patient, immobilization in calm shallow water, immobilization in calm deep water and immobilization in the surf zone.  Ideal for lifeguards and first responders in general interested in improving their SMR  (Spinal Motion Restriction) skills. | Duration: 12 hours on-site (not including on-line hours).

Prerequisites for Lay Responders:
-Current certificate in Adult, Child and Infant CPR & AED, Adult First Aid and Pediatric First Aid. It can be done concurrently as part of this class or separately.
